Sensei Laura has been training in the martial arts for over 20 years, receiving her first black belt from Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura in 1990.  In Chicago she was owner and director of Chicago Seido Karate – an authorized branch school of the World Seido Karate Organization.  She moved to Seattle in January 2007.
